PhD Colloquium: Supernatural and Comfortable User Interfaces for Basic 3D Interaction
18 September 2018
Abstract. One commonly used way of interacting with recently consumer-ready virtual reality (VR) technology is through natural user interaction, which is still prone to problems such as distance underestimation or fatigue.
In this thesis, various supernatural user interactions are proposed and experimentally evaluated that make VR more viable for prolonged use, e.g. in a productive work environment.
