IEEE EMBS Mind Reading Technology Summer School 2018

The 4th international summer school of neural engineering (ISSNE ’18) will be jointly organized by IEEE EMBS and Tsinghua University, from Aug 13-17, 2018 in Beijing. The ISSNE has been a school for next generation of leading researchers in neural engineering. EMBS will invite leading scientists and experts in neural engineering to give lectures and seminar talks in the summer school.

Introduction

ISSNE ’18 will focus on the topics of “mind reading technology”. With recent advances in neuroimaging, neural signal processing and machine learning, unprecedented details of brain codes and states have been revealed. Mind reading technology, stemmed from brain-computer interface, has emerged as scientific facts out of fictions. We welcome applicants of young talented students around the world to join us, to push the boundary and limits of mind reading technologies and methods, for better human-computer interaction and harmonious human communication.
