PhD Defense: Predictive Dependency Parsing

Abstract: Human processing of language is inherently incremental but language is usually parsed assuming that the complete text is available. I propose two approaches to create syntactic structures for still incomplete sentences, predicting the upcoming structure, as well as evaluation metrics for the task.
