PhD Defense: Mixed Reality Technologies for Novel Forms of Human-Robot Interaction

Abstract: Robot technology surrounds us with an increasing trend. The involved complexity requires us to find methods and technologies for proper handling with it. In this disputation, theoretical and conceptual findings for structuring immersive robotic interfaces are presented, as well as the design and implementation of a software framework. Finally, concepts and interaction studies show the performance of the presented work.
