Colloquium: Robotics and AI in medicine: from simple classification to autonomous systems
18 May 2021
Colloquium by Prof. Dr. Alexander Schlaefer, TUHH, Hamburg
Tuesday, 18 May 2021 16:00, Zoom Meeting
Abstract: Machine learning and particularly CNN based classification to aid diagnosis have dominated the view on 'artificial intelligence' in medicine for the past few years. We will cover some examples of image classification but also consider regression problems, which are often related to data with higher spatio-temporal resolution. Particularly, we will illustrate how such learning tasks are related to medical robotics and how integrating planning, learning, and robotics may lead to truely autonomous systems.
Zoom access information will be provided soon.
