PhD Position(s) on Mechanisms of Change at University of Hamburg
The Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology lab (www.bpn.uni-hamburg.de) led by Prof. Brigitte Röder is inviting applications for a PhD position funded by the Hector Fellow Academy (https://hector-fellow-academy.de/en/).
Project description: Mechanisms of neural and behavioral change in the visual system of humans
Keywords: Visual and multisensory functions, neuroplasticity, learning, visual attention, visual spatial processing, locomotion
Entry requirements: Master degree in psychology, cognitive science or a related field; background in experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience; very good understanding of statistical methods; good knowledge of one programming language; of advantage would be familiarity with one neuroscience method (such as EEG or fMRI); high proficiency in oral and written English
Location: Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology, University of Hamburg, located in one of the most liveable cities in the world.
Starting date: October 2023 or later.
Funding: Four years of funding (3+1, three years with the possibility to extend for one year)
