Colloquium: Neural Approaches to Optimal Transport
4 April 2024
Colloquium by Prof. Marco Cuturi (Professor of Statistics, CREST - ENSAE, Institut Polytechnique de Paris and Research Scientist, Apple ML Research)
Abstract: In his talk, Prof. Cuturi will cover the basics of the Kantorovich and Monge optimal transportation problems. In the following, he will proceed with an exposition of various approaches recently proposed to estimate optimal transport maps at scale, using samples from two probability distributions and neural networks.
